An original work of art by Sherril B. Porter. A depiction of a small scene is quite lovely with its small babbling creek flowing through it. Located somewhere on the Red Cloud loop, Uintah Mountains, Ashley National Forest.
The shimmering of the reflections in the water are very refreshing and a visual joy to observe. The water eroded and smooth rocks are contrasted with the moss-covered rocks. This looks so inviting that you could take a sip or a glance. This is one of the small wonders in nature that if you don't look twice you could miss it.
About Sherril Porter
aka Sher'L I was born an Artist. It was in my genes. I am the Son of Elbert H. Porter, famous dinosaur sculptor. I studied art in high school and minored in art in college. For a short time I owned a sign shop. My profession is Lab. Tech. at industrial facilities. Now that I am retired, I plan on doing my passion which is Art and in particular, Oil Painting. Presently my interests are painting wildlife, landscapes, still life, etc.
